Cheryl Smith Fisher Participates in UB Medical School Workshop and Bar Association of Erie County Program

 

Magavern Magavern Grimm LLP partner Cheryl Smith Fisher will participate in an Incoming Residents Week workshop at UB School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences on the UB campus on June 22, 2010.

For several years, she has been invited to be part of a panel of community professionals exploring patient safety from various perspectives. She will comment on medical ethics.

Ms. Fisher also recently spoke to the Bar Association of Erie County’s Health Committee. She discussed a recent case involving a court decision to deny a petition by Upstate New York Transplant Services (UNYTS) to enforce New York State County Law by requiring the County Medical Examiner to cooperate in the recovery of organs from an infant who died after sustaining a head injury.
