Edward Markarian is a partner in the Buffalo, New York law firm of Magavern Magavern Grimm LLP. He concentrates his practice in trusts and estates, litigation and appeals. He maintains an office in Kenmore at 3080 Delaware Avenue and in Buffalo.
Mr. Markarian graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law, where he received appellate practice and trial technique awards. He has a B.A., magna cum laude, from Hamilton College. He served as law clerk to New York State Court of Appeals Judge Richard D. Simons from 1987-1988, and as legal assistant to the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Fourth Judicial Department, from 1985-1986. He then practiced with the firm of Hawthorne, Markarian & Siegel, PLLC until the merger of his practice with Magavern Magavern Grimm LLP.
Mr. Markarian currently serves as a grader for the New York State Board of Law Examiners. He is admitted to practice before all New York State Courts, the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, the United States District Courts for the Western and Eastern Districts of New York, and the United States Court of Federal Claims.
Mr. Markarian is an active member of the Rotary Club of Kenmore, of which he is past president.
