James P. Bracken is special counsel to the Buffalo, New York law firm of Magavern Magavern Grimm LLP. He concentrates his practice in the areas of small business law, not-for-profit corporations, and commercial law.

Mr. Bracken advises business clients regarding choice of business organization, selection of capital structure, appropriate forms of financing, mergers, acquisitions, sales, dissolution, and other business transactions.

Mr. Bracken advises commercial lenders and business borrowers regarding all types of asset based financing, mortgage lending and federal, state and local financial assistance and incentive programs.

Mr. Bracken received his Bachelor of Arts and Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from the State University of New York at Buffalo, where he served as a Senior Editor of The Buffalo Law Review. He is a member of the Erie County Association, New York State Bar Association, and the New York State Corporation Law Committee. He is admitted to practice in all Courts of the State of New York.

He resides in East Aurora, New York where he has been involved in several community organizations.
