Thomas E. Schofield is a partner of the Buffalo, New York law firm Magavern Magavern Grimm LLP. He concentrates in the area of business law, including business organizations, commercial and real estate finance, cross-border and international business transactions, and business immigration.
He is a graduate of the University of Toronto where he received his Honours B.A. in 1971. He completed his M.A. and law degrees at SUNY at Buffalo in 1975. Mr. Schofield is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States, the Second Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States District Court for the Western District of New York and before all state courts in New York.
For many years, Mr. Schofield was an instructor at the Law School of the State University of New York at Buffalo. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association and the Bar Association of Erie County. He is past vice-chair of the International Law Section of the New York State Bar.
