Brendan P. McCafferty is Special Counsel to the law firm of Magavern Magavern Grimm LLP. He concentrates his practice in the areas of taxation, trusts and estates and corporate and business law.

Mr. McCafferty is an attorney and Certified Public Accountant (New York) with extensive background in accounting, finance, taxation and law. He has counseled U.S., Canadian and other international clients in manufacturing, telecommunications, health care, financial services, nonprofit, and energy and technology-based industries regarding federal, state and local, and international tax matters.  Mr. McCafferty practiced with "Big 4" accounting firms, presented at professional seminars, and has lectured at various colleges and universities.

Mr. McCafferty received his juris doctor, cum laude, from the State University of New York at Buffalo. An alumnus of St. John Fisher College, he also holds a master’s degree in business administration from the Rochester Institute of Technology. He is a member of several professional associations. He is a resident of Buffalo, New York.
