Raymond W. Walter is an associate practicing in the areas of estates, trusts and elder law. His background combines legal and business experience. He was a law clerk for the United States Attorney’s Office, Western District, and for an area law firm, after serving as a research assistant for the Erie County Charter Revision Commission. Mr. Walter held the positions of business manager, finance manager and sales manager over a 10-year career with regional auto dealers.

Mr. Walter is a member of the Erie County Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association.  He is an active participant in numerous civic and charitable organizations.  He currently serves on the Board of the Amherst Senior Citizens Foundation Inc., the Amherst Traffic Safety Board, the Erie County Cultural Resources Advisory Board, and as Treasurer of the Amherst Republican Committee.

Mr. Walter, an alumnus of State University of New York at Geneseo, received a juris doctor degree, magna cum laude, from University of Buffalo Law School. He resides in East Amherst, New York with his wife Jennifer and their two sons.
