William J. Magavern, II is counsel to the Buffalo, New York law firm of Magavern Magavern Grimm LLP. He concentrates in the areas of corporate law, commercial and residential real estate law, wills, trusts and estates. Mr. Magavern is a graduate of Dartmouth College (1956), and University of Buffalo Law School (1962).
Mr. Magavern is Chairman, Kissing Bridge Corporation, Secretary of The Mentholatum Co., Inc., a Director and Secretary of Niagara Blower Company, Niagara Dispensing Technologies, Inc., and Metal Cladding, Inc. He served for thirty-one years as an Officer and Director of the Albright-Knox Art Gallery. He has served as Chairman, Buffalo State College Foundation, Inc.; President, Erie County Mental Health Association; President, International Institute; President, Buffalo Council on World Affairs; a Director, Burchfield-Penney Art Center, an Incorporator of the Allentown Association, and a member of the Erie County Cultural Advisory Board, the Buffalo Arts Commission, and the former Fleet Bank of New York Buffalo Regional Advisory Board.
